Differential Filler Plug

Hi,
1995 year; 240SX
Is the differential drain plug and filler plug one and the same on that vehicle?
I just pulled out what I thought was the filler plug and all the gear oil came out. I don't see a plug that's higher up[ to fill] on that cover.
Thank you,
Henry

I need an answer to this question as well, I am in the process of doing this job and according to the factory service manual both plugs should be on the rear of the diff, but I only see the drain plug.

Please respond ASAP! Thanks.

Differential Filler Plug

Hi,

The differential filler plug is located on the left side of the upper portion of the housing. [if you're looking at the rear of the housing...] It's a bit tricky to get to. Good luck.
