Flywheel bolts/short throw shifter
i recently replaced my clutch and got the flywheel resurfaced. now im putting it back in and i have the shop manual, but i cant find anywhere what im supposed to torque the flywheel bolts to. i was just wondering if anyone knew or had some idea.
also, i was wondering if theres any way to make a short throw shifter while everything is out of the car? i know a lot of people just cut down the shifter, but i was looking for more of an actual solution. anything would help though. and does the shifter **** actually come off? i couldnt get it. thanks.

As for "making" your own short shifter, unless you have machine tools there's no way - a short shifter repositions the pivot point of the shifter higher than stock - on our shift levers, the shifter is a one-piece affair so there's no way to move the pivot point short of grinding the shift lever straight, machining a new pivot ball, then attaching the ball to the shifter at a higher position than OEM
