Question hard shifting

what could cause my stock auto tranny to shift like a rock? After completing my engine swap and going for a test run I've hit a wall my car shifts like some straight she-it. any input would be helpful.

P.S full of fluids, new filter. WTF

Auto trannys in all 240sx's shift hard, it is especially noticeable going into second gear.

What would be the benifits of swaping out trannys other than speed and power. I kinda just want to cruise the streets for now. A swap is in the plans though. what all would I ned to complete this swap. I have the tranny already. should I buy my parts or go to the yard and pull parts? Dose anyone kno if they sell a kit for this swap?
