help, what the heck do u use to take off the drain plug for transmission??

help, what the heck do u use to take off the drain plug for transmission??

Ok, i was all ready to change my transmission oil and diff oil, the car was up, and as i looked at the drain plug, it didnt look like a regular nut?? What the heck do i use to take it off?? is it something i could get at a regular parts store? grrrrr anyways, any input is greatly appreciated! sheesh, why couldn't they just make it like a standard nut!

Use a pretty big socket. I forgot if it's a 19mm or a 21mm

the drain plug I took off today off a 91 KA24DE manual.... has 4 point.... just just use a 1/2 drive breaker bar....

also get a cheater bar... you'll probably need it... It was a pain in the *** for me to get mine out...

I have a 93 automatic and Its driping oil, how do i put more in? i tried trough the dipstick and worked fine. Is there a more accesible place?

Hmm you guys really need to buy the 240sx FSM acutally there was a free download for it on here somewhere.. There is another nut on the tranny on the side then grab your ***** pump and pump the fluid in.

Joel SX... if you don't know how to put oil in your car you should not be working on it... but so you know, there is an oil cap on the top of your valve cover

Yo , I tought that this fourum was talking about trasmission and dif oil, so i asked were are these places because they are hidden. It is pretty obius that the engine oil should be put trough the BIG oil cap that has a oil sing on top of it. But my bad for not specifiying what kind of oil.
