how much for a manual swap??
i have a 98 240sx automatic and i want to convert it to a 5 speed, does anyone know how much id be looking at spending to do this?

have ya searched the forums? Searched the internet? There is tons of info out there..but id say anywhere from 400-800

if ur doing a engine swap u can just get the clip and it comes with everything !

you'd be looking ~600 for a good shape full swap, maybe a little more if you wanted a s14 tranny. Shops would charge ballpart 400, so you'd be looking 1K.

Not worth it to me, but to each their own.

I say go with an s15 6 speed, and just pretend it costs $500

Isnt the bolt pattern totally differnt then a S13 or S14 or KA trans?

i dont think you can use the S15 trany with a KA
but he can try
