Look No Dampner.

Installed new clutch kit and slave cylinder having trouble bleeding the system feels kind of long on the pedal, measured pedal dimensions by NISSAN FSM. and it's right on. Has anyone by-passed the Dampner (little box between slave and master?) Does it make the pedal feel any better? Clutch Locks up good just need a lot of pedal. Looked in Index but no answer.

I didn't really notice a difference when I took mine off. If anything, I just feel a little more vibrations in the pedal (very minimal)

Sorry it's DAMPER. Thank you for your reply. I keep bleeding the damper and it's a trikle but when I bleed the slave I flows good. Pedal feels alright and clutch works good, you always want better control and I had other cars with a lot better feel after a clutch job.
