The only thing with the Kaaz is that you have to tear up your existing differential, which sucks. might as well try to find a r200 diff and bolt on that bad boy.

The VLSD is more of a bolt on do-it yourself deal. Take a look here at the install. And guess what it is another HONDA owner doing things the right way. I give Al major props!
Check it out
i was gonna get the normal stock VLSD but i decided not to because it is weak and does not do the job well. my kaaz 2way lsd always stay locked at all times. thats the way i like it. and its very stong. its ture that you do have to open your diff. case but on all aftermarket lsd you will have to do that.

as far as the stock lsd being weak, yes..it is. will i have enough power to break one anytime soon? prolly not. but if i do i would have rather spent a few bills more on a real lsd that has more locking power.
all you guys looking at honda lsd swaps are clueless. a fwd lsd is not even in comparison to how a rwd lsd would be installed. for one thing, ona fwd car, the diff is inside the transmission.
My post was to ImportNut's site. Yes he is a honda owner. But he also owns a s14. He has done the vlsd swap and has posted a very nice writeup on the swap. He also took snapshots that would help most who don't even know what this VLSD thing they are talking about looks like.
I hope you guys checked it out.

it's not as easy as you'd think. but with proper research and room to work it'll go smooth.
i'm waitin for mine. although i'm not using an aftermarket unit the factory one is a skyline unit which has more locking strength then the stock s13 unit .
chek the links. along with Stanbo's link i found this very informative
