How do u kno if u have a LSD on ur 240 or not?

yeah...they have an orange tag on the diff. it's hard to see it though.

 

Also, if you have the rear end jacked up, just turn one of your tires in one direction. If the other tire spins the same way, you have LSD, if the other tire spins in the opposite direction, you don't have LSD.

 

Nope, no LSD here. LOL. Was it an Infiniti J30 that just bolts on? I gotta find a junkyard with one.

 

Depends though. From what I know, if you have an S14, a 95' and up J30 dif. will bolt right up. With an S13, the output flanges for the axles is of a different bolt pattern. The S14 uses a 2 bolt pattern:

The pairs of bolts are actually closer together than this, its the best I could do. Just look at the two bolts on top in the little diagram, and you'll get the idea.



As for the S13 I'm not sure because I have a 95'. Sorry.

i have an 89 s13, where should i look to find a LSD cheap. I dont' know if getting it from canada is going to be cheap. But i know i need one.
