LSD question real quick

I'm new to the 240's....... just got it 2 days ago. I came from having a modded camaro z28. I have a 95 base 5-speed without the LSD. My question is, in order to get rid of the basically 1 wheel drive, do i just need to switch out the differental for and LSD one?

yes, some aftermarket kits require you to use the oem pumpkin. a few companies makes some wicked bigger back casings that hold more oil along with better cooling fins. or just weld your oem...

ps: its a* not "and." 'an' is for vowels

simple answer is no for most aftermarket LSDs. the stock housing would work

On a side note: this is a car forum not a grammar forum. It just happens to be wierd that I am taking an Army correspondence course on grammar right now.

Actually most aftermarket LSDs use the OEM housing. Those 'back casings' (diff cover, to be simple) still work for the OEM main housing.

i know what you mean. my last 2 years of high school was horrifc, any grammar mistake on papers meant a letter grade deduction (for each mistake!) or an instant fail on term papers! been kinda picky eversince due to mental conditioning (which worked as it appears). ****, didnt mean to thread jack

i knew there was another name instead of 'back casings,' hehe.
