Are you referring to the pumpkin? or just the "spool?"

Yes it will fit into the housing. You will need the S15 output shafts. You can NOT use open diff or VLSD shafts. This has been confirmed by myself, and a few other gentlemen over on www.zilvia.net.

Well, you better have some hookups in Japan because dealer's here can't order them. Your best bet would be to keep looking at yahoo auctions, ebay, and www.jspec.com. They will not be cheap though.

I believe that's a typo. I know who bought that off of jspec and they tried to use VLSD output shafts and it wouldn't work.

What is the difference between a VLSD and HLSD. I just installed a s15 subframe into my s13 it has a VLSD! I spin the wheel n the other one stays is that wrong? Did I get dicked?

A good read. IIRC, S15s had a choice of Torsen(helical), VLSD and open. So there is a possibilty of you being dicked.

Actually, I have an S15 Helical diff and mine does the same thing. I think it's just the nature of the diff. I know it's an HLSD because I installed into my diff housing myself.
