Question are short shifters really a good thing?

wat do short shifters do? i bet u guys cud tell im a newb

y'know when you shift from first to second... a short shifter makes the distance less so you can shift faster...
if you get one practice shifting before you drive too hard because you might hurt something, my foot couldn't keep up with my hand when i first got mine.

like all of you knew what a short shifter was when you were born.

Short shifter is actually incorrect - it's "short-throw shifter" and that name is self-explanitory.

to me, short shifters are ghetto people who hacksaw their stock shifter so that the shift **** is inside the center console. LOL

I hear the B&M is the best currently on the market. That is the route I am going and personally would not get from any other company that currently offers them.
