tranny problem

so last week i got into an accident not much damage to the car a little to the fender. but when i got back in my car i noticed it was hard to get into the top gears 1st 3rd and 5tf. they would go into the gears but i would have to hold it or it would just pop out. next day i look and i see my motor moved forward. so i lift up the car the next day and i see driveshaft is pull out a couple inches. me and a friend push the motor back a couple of inches but it still wasnt in all the way. it seems that the 2 bolts that go from the tranny mount and bolt up to the tranny were not there. i guess the people with the car before took them out and didnt put them back in. the holes where it should screw into are a few inches away from where it should be bloted up to the tranny mount. im assuming the motor mounts bent forward but its doesnt look like it. can anyone think or something i can do to get the motor and tranny back in place. i already tried raising the car and putting it on jackstands and pushing the motor back but will not go in. please give me some tips thanks

Fisrt thing I'd suggest is getting a replacement tranny mount. The whole tranny/engine sits on 3 total mounts, so like you mentioned about the engine mounts - might want to inspect them further to see if they've snapped the rubber part.
