my ride - 91 coupe. ok i just got a swap for another 93 ka24de after blowing the one i had. i found an ok one for 200$ but it was a automatic. it didnt really matter since the 5speed tranny i had was in good condition. when i got the motors swapped, i just got the mechanic to change the trannys. for some reason in the begining it wouldnt shift as smoothly as it used to and now the tranny seems to have some what of a hard time changing gears into 2nd and 3rd. whenever i shift up theres a feeling that it doesnt want to go in right away. sometimes it even scratches. wat could i do to solve this problem. should i go ahead and change the tranny fluid since it is old or is there nothing i can do but buy another tranny. your thoughts would help. thx

 

drain & Fill the tranny with some good fluid, that should help. If not, i'm sure you can find a cheap tranny somewhere.

i love nissan to death ...but there auto trannys suck ***...i've had the problem with 2 s13 auto's i had.



didn't matter i swapped it to 5 speed.
