Wierd sound while reversing

I would have searched but im in a hurry to get out of the house and make this post. When i put my car in reverse its fine but sometimes when im rolling back itll make a funny noise. Now ive experimented and ive let it roll back with the clutch completly depressed, in gear, out of gear. I also tried in neutral and it still did it. But only when my car is going backwards. Its a sound that feels like somethings rubbing then suddenly lets go. Odd sound and makes me look like a real noob while parking cuz itll make a funny noise and people standing around think i cant drive stick. Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

Are you pointing my brakes out as a problem or are you just generally asking how they feel? In term of braking power theyre still strong but if your implying that they may be rubbing i guess that is a possibility.

i have that problem, when i reverse it feels/sounds like im grinding something..

i found out if i keep my foot just slightly on the brake, it wont do it anymore, of course i gotta let go when i give it gas..

it's embarassing but if people around arent going to buy me new brakes, then **** what they think..

Check your pads, then check if the slide pins are seized. Most of the time though it's pads, and it happens to both S13 and S14's
