96 240se which motor
I've done a few honda swaps from sohc/b16/h22's... i have a 96 240 sitting around. I thought about doing a swap for it until now im seriously thinking about it... i knoe sr20det are common swaps but i maybe thinking of the RB's .... Its like putting an H22 in a civic the way i see it.. anyways i need some inputs i've read some of the post relating to the swap and wiring, but no one has put up total cost and difficulty ratings how much parts would need custom etc and can i get these parts off the shelf..

My question is:

From what year RB motor would be suitable for my model? Will i have problems with emissions being that my car is obd2? are all japanese motors sr20/rb's obd1?

This will not be a drift car or drag car maybe occasion runs but nothing hard core. Just looking for streetable power with major passing power ..

If i decide to ditch my 240 because of obd2 which yr/model 240 should i look for that is "swap friendly" wiring etc...i don't mind if things have to be custom only if i can buy them off the shelf
