Question I have a 1992 240SE could I use the turbo from a CA18

I know this guy which is selling a CA18. Most likely its broken. So I was wondering If its possible to use the CA18 Turbo which is still good. I have a Ka24. Would that be a direct fit? Or would I half to custom modify? Thanks

if it is a CA18DET that came in 240sx's uses the same engine mounts and such, although some work for wiring and such is needed, same as a SR swap.
Check NICO for more information.

if ur talkin about swapping the engine then it will fit like drnovascotia said.

if ur talkin about only using the turbo, then i wouldn't, if it is the stock ca18det turbo.
a t25 from the ca is too small for the ka24. if it is a t25g from an sr20 (sometimes found on ca's) then it will work but i would recomend a t28, or t3/t4. Also for any of these u would need a different manifold.

IM going to go ahead and buy the motor. IT has about 50k is what the guy said. MOtor, trans, ECU and wireharness, and turbo. Do I need to buy mounts or is this direct fit. Are there any links to how to do this swap? Or I mean is it possible bolt on. IS this swap good because im buying the motor for 600$ Cant afford SR20.

The CA is a great motor, It should fit right in, Chek NICO and this CA section to have your questions answered.
