2jzgte into s13?!?

Hey Whatsup All, was just wondering...I just recently got a 90 240sx, it was pretty cheap and ive been thinking about motors....ive looked into sr20s, the rb's but was just curious if anyone has done a 2jzgte? if so how easy would it be? i figure thats what im going to do, but just curious of how it worked out for anyone whos done it or known anyone who has... Thanks!

No one has done it personally on this site, and I dont know anyone personally that has done it, but search around and you will find a site with a little info and pics on it

yes, 93rps13 is correct. There is a website out there where they tried to make the "ultimate S13". To me, it is the most documented project I've ever seen on an S13. They maxed out the sr20det (hp wise- they were only able to get 450-500hp at the wheels). Then, they tried the RB25det and maxed that out around 600hp (these are all rough estimates, I haven't seen the website in a while). Then they succeeded in the rb26dett and pushed that bad boy in the 900-1000 hp range. Well, that was fine but it wasn't "reliable" so they opted for the 2jz. They succeeded in pumping out over 1000 hp to the wheels and still have a reliable, everyday driver. Now that's the Ultimate S13!!!

ps. Tried to find the website but i failed!

Hey, I'm in the middle of tryin to find a chassis to put a 2jz motor into. I've done a few SR and 2 RB swaps. Almost finished with b13 into a an s13. Still working the fuel system kinks out. Anyone have a chassis near eastern PA?

Dang, 1000+ hp at the wheels. That's way too much. I mean, why? Lol, I can only image that kidna of power at the drag strip. I'll be happy with low boost on a KA-T running 250 hp at the wheels.

Hmmmm,
Right up my ally! LOL

I actually have a buddy, who is currently doing this swap... Granted it's a work in progress, alot of custom fabrications. Motor mounts are the trickiest. Also, we did some brief measurements and the motor will fit, but there might be some turbo fitment issues. Also, when it comes to holding this power down, you are going to be in for a rude awakening if you use the stock chassis. Car will most definitely have some chassis flex and problems putting that power down with the narrower wheel base. But i'm definitely looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Weight to power ratio is going to make this thing insane, even if it retains the stock twins. Good luck.
