'95 KA24 into '91 240sx

'95 KA24 into '91 240sx

hmmm... yo, Quick question

Can I drop '98 240sx KA24DE into my '91 240sx?

Will I need any mod?

and.... Why Garrett's T3 turbo is only for S14 KA, or '94 or newer 240sx?

Also, lately Greddy, XS-Eng, and Jim Wolf, made turbo kits for KA24DE, but they all are for '94 or newer, as well,,, why is that?

a 98 KA24DE will "drop" into and S13, but you might need some random parts which I'm not about to list because if you used the "search" function you'd find out.

As for the turbo kit question, maybe it's just because the S14's are the most recent 240sx's available here in the U.S. that won't have as high mileage as S13's.

You could but you'd have to make modifications. For example, the piping for the turbo was designed to fit into an S14 chassis, not an S13. It wouldn't be "bolt-on turbo kit" anymore because you'd be trying to make the kit fit on a chassis it wasn't designed for - regardless of engine. For an extreme example, it's like trying to use the Greddy Turbo Kit on an Altima.

Oh and, T3 turbos work on S13, S14, whatever - it's just piping and the flange on the exhaust manifold that make it fit or not.
