Buying an S14/ turbo questions?
Buying an S14/ turbo questions?
I am buying an s14 hopefully this week for 1700 and im taking out the KA and putting in an SR this winter. What kind of turbo would be best? and im going to drift not drag.
Drags for ****, slide your ride.

why are you so jumpy to replace the stock turbo? Its not a cheap investment... i'd learn to drive w/ the ka like raine said, and then the stock t25... THEN you can put a whole bunch of different turbos on it
well if you want to replace the turbo get the Disco potato turbo its a good one little spendy but good turbo. But if i was you keep the KA you got and turbo it you can make a good 300whp with it no problem, stock internals.
anymore suggestions on a new turbo?
if anyone has a great experience with a turbo let me know
not trying to be rude but please, all i want to know is a good turbo, not that i should learn to drive a KA then the SR and then turbo it. if i mess up, its my fault not yours. sorry if i sound rude, im not trying to. i just want opinions on a turbo

your a moron.
power is **** without handling i hope you crash.
HKS GT2535 has great power and response.
Disco potato is not a bad choice either.
But stock S14 T28 is good enough for a daily car.

Lol, you guys are still *******s. I've been gone too long--whats good?
Anyway, Stock turbo will go a long way depending on what you want to do with the car.
For starters you never stated any sort of power goal. I can't recommend what a "good turbo" is if I don't know what the hell you're trying to achieve here.
You honestly sound like you have no idea what you're doing, you just want power, and will pay for it just to get it. Thats fine--I can't hate on people that pay to get work done...but research does go a long way. Turbos have been around for YEARS now, I'm sure the information on this site, as well as the entire INTERNET is sufficent enough to have you making turbo's from scratch if you wanted.
With that said, instead of sitting here giving us vauge details, let us HELP YOU by you giving us more information. Technically, all we're doing here is spoon feeding you things that you can easily find yourself by doing a little leg work.
Well, good luck either way...

u are right i do not know what i am doing, i just sold my 74 corvette stingray. me and my father built that thing up, and it was no longer a daily driver, the project was complete. but now my friends with nissans got me into the import scene, which is why i am asking questions. i used to be american muscle kinda guy, but now after ive got the feel of drifting with friends cars, i want my own, which is why im on here asking you guys that know what ur doing what i should do. you need some sort of power to drift. ive pretty much covered the internals i want for this project, i just need to work on bolt on, since they arent my stong point im asking you, and of course i want power. who doesnt. so please dont be an *** to me cuz im asking questions, im learning. everyone starts somewhere.
and for the people that are raggin on me for me saying im getting a nissan and dont have one, i share this name with a friend who has an s13, sry had to add that... been getting bull from people callin me gay and stuff cuz my pro says i own an s13, i dont my friend uses this too
