Shyt you think it will run me that much? Well I'll do that then, if I don't have enough then I guess I will have half of a ca in my garage. What is the most expensive thing that went wrong with your CA?

On mine, there was a blown turbo, and you can barely tell becuase the turbo spun fine and there was no shaft play.

i still havent even gotton the motor in the car, so there still might be a problem we have yet to uncover.
but im sure there will be some more problems, with the type of luck i have, the engine is probably siezed, the hg blown and the bearings are shot.

OH crud!!! I think this is gunna be alot of work... good thing I have you guys to help me out when i get burried in problems. As far as teh getting screwed over by people that website you gave me at the begining of this thead isn't one of those people is it? I don't wanna buy something from a shady dealer. Luckly or unluckly I have a truck that I can frive if I need a car to get me around once I start the swap, but I want as smooth of a swap as possible. What part would you recommend that I buy before I even start the swap? parts that are commonly bad and nice to have lying around. I will buy it from a store like murray's or autozone, so if I dont use the parts I can take them back. Thanks

The only parts i would reccomend you buy BEFORE the swap are things you dont need, but should have, like:

S-AFC, turbo timer, boost gauge, boost controller.

As long as everything you buy the first time around is good quality, you wont need to buy anything else.

Just make sure you get the full swap, engine, harness, ecu, so on....
