CA18DET? advice?

okay.....before i even get flammed, i searched...i read thru 5 pages and didnt find the info i was looking for...

what i was really wondering was everyones opinions on ca18det motors?

what are they worth?( i have an offer to buy 2 of them for 1700, and a 240 chasis)

also, are they high maintnence? and what type of power can they hold with stock internals... and how tuff is it to swap.

hope i dont get flamed,
mike

p.s. thanks for the info!

what do they come with? if it is 2 complete swaps and a decent shell to swap into, thats a good deal. and if you dont need 2 motors I will even take one off your hands.
need more info to make a fo' sho' call on this one.

on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being a GT3 motor or in this case GT2 (turbo) i rate it a 7 with is damn good for street use. I've read only good things about it.

Its 1 CA18DET with everything, no shaft play on turbo, great condittion, uncut harness, under 100,000 kilometers on the motor.
and a front mount inter cooler

the other CA18DET has everything, but no turbo, and a blown HG.

The chasis only has 106,000 on it. with a mint interior and a few dents on the body.

im buying it for 1700.and paying someone 750 to swap it.

good deal?
