the cheapest is probly gonna be the CA18 (turbo 1.8..think mini RB20)

SR20DET
RB20DET
KA-T
RB25DET

these are the most comomn..but, you could also put a V8 in it..there are lotsa Chevy powered 240's..use the search button..its your friend. its all about what suits you and your budget
like i said..i did all mine for like 3200 or so..but, i ran out of money for wheels and coilovers..

I would suggest driving the KA first, learning how to drift/drive RWD before swapping. Make sure you practice drifting at actual events or in wide open areas where you cannot hurt yourself or others. No one likes the douche that wrecks his car "drifting".

^^^this too..we like to beat the **** out of the jack-*** thats "drifting" his car into ours..not fun

just because you seen a few video's and drive a 240..which probly doesn't have lsd..doesn't make you a drifter

nah..some people aren't as into it as i am..its all good..i won't flame you..but you need LSD..or a welded diff..that needs to be first on your "Drift" list

then..i would just go pratice with the KA..**** it..once you get better, start building it

What he's ^^ trying to say is. You need to do research, you dont know enough about your car to even consider modifying it. Once you get a better grasp on your vehicle it'll be time for you to upgrade. Until then, READ READ READ.

Try attending some SCCA AutoX events to learn how to drive properly.
700hp is way to much for anything but driving in a straight line once a month.
Just go browse the forums when ever a topic sparks your intrest read about it.

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/under-...od-channel.htm

This website will answer many of your questions about general parts, start by searching "Limited Slip Differential" or LSD for short.

Good luck on your adventure to not being a noob or a ricer. Dont get scared off. See you around.
