sr20's are good motors but in my eyes i think they are more luck of the draw motors, like when you buy one it either runs or dosent. hit or miss, i could be wrong for all i know though

I've got a RB20 in my s13 as well and I love it! I originally thought about going with SR20, but I got my RB20 motor set (turbo, ecu, uncut wiring, etc) $1100 shipped to my door.

If you still really want to do a RB26 swap go down south and have a company swap one in for you. It'll run about 6 - 8g out the door. Back in 05 when I bought my RB20 I was quoted 6.5g for a RB26, but I just didn't have that much at that time. Now I've spent close to 15g and counting lol. This winter Ima rebuild the 20 and have more fun with it. If you plan on getting a RB any should be fine. All are very powerful.

well to let you know the r32 and r33 rb26 awd trans were 5 speed and the r34 awd trans was 6 speed. and theres been a handfull of people that have used the rb26 trans you have to cut off the transfer case and the big transfer case chain and block it off and build a custom drive shaft. also ive had my
rb26 240 up to 172mph with rpm still left so its possible to get to 200mph but your going to need good suspension, good tires, and more hp around 450+hp to get up to 200mph but it can be done with the rb25 trans and a j30 3.92 diff but if you have a 4.08 diff you can do around 195mph if you have the proper aerodynamics, HP, suspension, and tires it can get up there.
also the r32,r33 rb26 trans has the same ratio trans as the rb25det trans, i know this cause i had to rebuild my rb25 trans with my rb26 awd trans and they were the same.
