Hi, I believe they do have a 112MPH limiter. one of our customers was pissed because he raced a Honda and wasted it but then after a ways the honda caught up once he hit the limiter. Then the guy bragged all over town about beating the SR swap 240. What an idiot

Actually guys, I believe the "speed govenor" you speak of is because you are running your SR speed sensor. You are supposed to swap out your SR ss for the KA ss. What it does it tricks your ecu into thinking that you are always in 4th gear so there's no speed cut in 5th gear...or something to that nature. If you experienceing a speed cut, then there's probaly something else going on.

Or you can just get an aftermarket ECU.

I have daughterboards for the s13 sr20det. I also have roms to eliminate the limits such as the speed limiter, fuel cut, and raise the rev limit. Not to mention a better fuel/timing curve.

Stillen has an EPROM that takes away the speed governor, allows you to program the air/fuel ratio, and raise the rev limiter and such. You might wanna check it out if you're willing to spend some money.
