would the engine start up normally if the intercooler is not hooked up?
i just installed a sr20det in my 240sx. when i start the engine it is choking, is it because my intercooler isn't hooked up?

 

yea... that means the air the turbo just compressed is running into the atmospere = super rich engine

make sure you have no leaks anywhere is the intercooler new? it might have a pressure leak and is the turbo bad? a bad turbo will stop a engine right now! there is a number of things that can cause this bad injectors? you will just need to do a process of elimination its hard to say what it could be without being there. hope that helps
