there is a place in miami named just japs imports. they sell all nissan motors from rb26's down to ca18's. has anyone ever heard of them? anything good? anything bad? the prices i was quoted for werent bad and although it is not a front clip it does include everything that i front clip includes. im understood their reputation here isnt that bad. anyone know anything ?



p.s. anyone heard of rb30det? where can u get one? pricE??? anything ??? how hard would that be to put in a 91 240 hatch?

 

Yes there is a RB30DET, but oh so rare. From what I know its made out of a RB30E block, and RB25 or RB26 head(and probably many other things). Price=have no clue. I'm sure its more expensive then the RB26 though

 

Actually it'll cost right around $2500 to build the engine. I can get you a rb30de designed for the rb20det system for $2500.

This means that you would have to drop this motor into a previously rb20det swapped car. You use the rb20det exhaust manifold, Turbo, wiring harness, computer (w/ piggyback fuel controller).... better off going full standalone, and you will need to high flow the rb20 injectors or get new ones.

Your looking at anywhere from 250whp all the way up to over 400whp depending on a few variables.

 

id rather just do an rb20det swap. save me alot of work. better than an sr too. only problem is finding parts but it can be done. anyone know of just japs imports?

im in weston/ cooper city. u ever goto towers? how much is that z brakes conversion? is it difficult to do ? ill be sure to goto craig when i go to get a motor.

I have heard of many places to get SR20s but not many places down here to go with RB20s or 25s. Im located in Davie.
