fuel pressure stableizer

my car has been giving me problems ever since i had completed my swap. it always bogs out when i floor it. i have been told that i should check for intercooler leaks, vacumlines new plugs and i never found the problem. Last night tho i pulled this ngk fuel pressure stabalizer that i got when i bought my front clip. it is hooked up to four wires off of the ecu plug, and it has a orange/red light that comes on everytime my car is acting up. Also i have an 89 240 sx and i never changed my fuel pump when i made my sr swap it was told i wasnt needed now im starting to think otherwize I was just wondering if anybody on this board has ever heard or ran in to this problem Thanx for ur help
