Im about to sell my 99 Civic SI, hopefully I get at least $10K for it. Then im planning on getting a 95-96 240SX. Just dont think its worth the money on hooking up my SI. But I just want to know what a good price is for a S14/S15 SR20DET? Where can I go to order them? The standard labor costs to swap? Does it directly bolt on? Ive been getting info from others but I want to know from you guys. Im currently in NC for school but I live in Miami. I basically want to know how much money I will need, and what parts I need just to drop the motor in and get the 240 up and running, eventually upgrade later. Check with club240 member "rkcarguy". I got my RB25 from him and he stood behind the motor when the head went south. I highly recommend him.

Is there any problems that may occur when I swap the motor in the 240? Like sudden problems?

 

should i buy a car with a swap already or buy the car then do it myself? problem wise? it will be a daily driver?

 

First, Search, some of your questions have been answered many times. Buy a car then do the swap. Everyone I know who has bought a car with the swap done including myself has had tons of problems. For example. My car supposedly had a new exedy clutch, walboro fuel pump, and rocker arm stoppers, it didnt. The wiring sucked, and ended up shorting in various places after about a month of owning it. PLus smog was a ***** since it had to be smogged before I could register it. I suggest getting the most stock car you can and go from there.
