okay, im coming from a mostly dsm world and im thinking of jumping on the 240 bandwagon

I was thinking of doing a s13 240sx w/ the s13 sr20det swap. I just needed some info on were to get a good complete swap. I heard good things about heavy throttle and street imports, and i knew that heavy throttles $2500 swap came w/ everything you would need...but street imports.com charges $1799, didnt know if that was everything you would need..

Anybody else have some good sites for full cheap swaps?

o yea, heavy throttle sells the $2900 S13 Silvia Red-top front Clip, would that include all the jdm front end for the converstion?

 

If heavy throttle said it was a front clip.... then it should come with the S13 body panels too. but i would spend the money on suspension work first if i were you.... iono maybe that's just me.

 

i will do suspension work after the swap, i dont think i cant stand the slowness of the stock car. i have a lil over 3500 right now, and im going to get a loan for local stock 240sx...plus i have 2 sets of wheels and tires im selling..so ill prolly put money into suspension and other boltons after i sell both sets.

 

Street imports is FROM (aka upwards of) $1799. Which means that $1800 aint gonna get you crap for a swap. Stick with heavy throttle for a motor set.

 

okay sounds good, now all i gota do is find a nice shape s13...

so do you all think it would be worth the money to just get the clip or just the swap from heavy throttle. i dont plan on doing the front converstion now, but eventually it would be nice. I know some clips dont come w/ body panels.

anyone have a nice body s13? ill trade for either sets of my wheels on the forsale forums!?
