Is this a good deal?

RB25DET Stage 2 Package, ~450 RWHP: includes the motor, everything needed for the installation plus GReddy Intake Manifold, GReddy RSPL Front Mount Intercooler, Intercooler Piping, APEX'i AVC-R Digital Electronic Boost Controller, APEX'i S-AFCII Fuel Computer, Tomei/NISMO 740cc Fuel Injectors, T3/T04E Turbo and Tuning $12,700

What do you guys think?

holy f*cking sh*t!! Is it just me or is that HELLA over priced? More like 9k max? unless that includes installition..but im sure it doesnt

You better search some more look at this web sit install is 1000.00 I would say no more than 6000 to 7000

hey I didnt see that at the bottom 12,700 SHEEEEEEEEEET

But that is with all mods I thought you were talking about there basic install

I am very sure its worth it for 450 hp

And wut good is it when you probably dont even know how to control a car with that much power and torque. I wouldnt do it AT ALL

GOOD point!!! I never thought about that either. Most peopel dont even know what 450rwhp feels like. Take it step by step. Iw ouldnt want to go from a KA beater to a 450rwhp monster over night

Yea..id wanna take baby steps. But wait..im jumping straight into a 215HP car..and never driven RWD. The first week of getting used to it is ganna be very slow if you know what i mean haha.

excellent points, gentlemen. this (240) being my first RWD car, i'm more than happy to leave it at stock power until i'm sure i won't kill myself or put myself in a wheelchair for the rest of my days. not that anyone is discouraging u from doing what u want. just makin sure u don't get in over ur head.

yeah the 240 was my first RWD. Even goign from teh KA to the RB20 was like WOOOOW....and that was only 214 crank HP...not even RWHP. 450 would be ungodly

seriously. i took the 240 out for a quick ride yesterday and i made a sharp right-hander near a little gravel. even w/140hp to the crank, it got the back nice and loose and i was quickly reminded that it is worlds apart from driving the cavalier. man, and to think i haven't even taken it out in the rain yet. i'm pretty sure that i'm at least a good year away from serious power upgrades. gotta learn how to drive the damn thing first.

$12,000 for a JDM motor that you'll NEVER know how it was driven, so who knows what's the motor had done to it or how many miles it has/had. If you powershop you'll get everything for half that or less. For that package i'll pay $6,000, but stinkin way will I pay $12,000. that's a good used car! That's a s14 with a Self Installed sr20det or rb25det! And enuff cash left over for a couple of upgrades (LSD, brakes) and some JDM bling bling(=rice)!
