Question Greddy Auto Timer?

I just wired up my turbo timer, and it works like it should. But It won't let me pull the key out. I have had this problem before but it was when I didn't have a battery installed and I jumped my car to start it(so I could see if it runs). It won't let me pull the key out untill the timer has stopped or I turn off the turbo timer. Does any one know why this is or how to fix it. Not sure if I used the right wires, so if any one has a greddy auto timer on a s13 please let me know what wires it is. I hooked red from timer harness to white/red on ignition harness, blue to blue, and green on timer harness to black/white on ignition harness. If this is not right please let me know. Thanks

There is nothing electrical to stop the key from coming out...It is all mechanical. Maybe the button is sticking.

I don't know, cause it makes a noise and then I can turn the key and pull it out.

my botton sticks and won't let me get the key out sometimes, I have to wiggle it really fast and then it gives it up. Are you home right now ruthless S13?

Believe me when I tell you that there is NOTHING ELECTRICAL HOLDING YOUR KEY IN PLACE. Even if it was an automatic, there is a cable that goes to the lock cylinder, nothing electric.

I don't know, when I pull one of the wire out it lets unlocks the ignition and I can remove the key then. I don't know, I might just sell the turbo timer and not worry about it.
