Sr20 Would be better i think
b/c of the stronger low end
not sure about the ca18 which i figure may prove to be
worth it since it's a 1.8ltr?
I am trying my luck with a RB20, and i fell you on the drifting. but it's almost what the car was made for.
well somebody please correct what i said, it's probably wrong.
Good Luck with you endeavor.

The car does very well in grip driving. I have had a hard time getting out of grip style with my car as it is now but I am tuning it for drift.
SR20 or CA18 would be what I would go with. Both are light and well built.
The KA would still be fine seeing that autox is a torque torture test and the KA is fine is that department.
Is you KA hurt soo bad that you need a swap?
What suspension mods have you done?

With $75000 why in the hell are you wasting time with a 240?

but i guess it is fun to build your own custom performance vehicle from swapped parts.
Makes yours stand out i guess.
i think i would do the same thing.

first of all i love the 240. i personally think it is one of the best cars ever made. they skyline is to expensive to buy and insure ($6500 a year for an 23 year old with no accidents and no tickets) . i was thinking an S14 Sr20DET with VVT in a S13 (cuz of weight) for an all track monster. i forgot to add earlier that this will be my track only car. i plan to make about 350-400 HP with a new turbo and all,the goodies. I also hope to run about 20 psi ( would this be too much??)

why whould the S14 be usless. i thoought it had VVT witch was liek VTEC that gave you more HP at higher RPM which i will be using on the track? i guesse the more HP on the s14 will be a waste of money cuz i'm gonna just put a bigger turbo in
Muhahahaha.........TURBOS
