First of all it's VTC, VVT is Toyota. Secondly V-TEC is varible valve timing AND varible valve lift. Both VTC and VVT only advance or retard cam timing. The SR's VTC only boosts mid range power for street driving. It has no effect on peak power. Also the S14 SR weighs more due to VTC, is harder to wire again due to VTC and OBDII emissions, it's low port intake is inferior to the S13's high port, and most importantly it costs more.

i'm going to arder a S13 Sr20DET from some place (any suggestions) and probably install it myself

would the OZ F1 Cup rims fit on my 240 or do i need to do the 5 lug conversion

 

I just ordered a clip for myself today from Phase2motortrend I've heard nothin but good things, so I guess I'm gonna find out for my self in a couple of weeks, when it arrives. I'm installing it myself too.

It means an SR in any car is completely illegal for use on public roads. OFF-ROAD = Show car or Race car that isn't registered for street use.

 

hehe, SR20DET is illegal to use on the streets, unless ur looking at SR20DE (Sentra SE).... different story.....
