Help

Im problem but with my SR starting. I heard on an earlier post that if you could put a 12v tester on your coilpack and it would be pushing it if its fine. But there is no way to check the coilpacks because even if it does not show the 12volts it could still be the ignitor chip. I really dont want to waste money on an ignitor chip if I dont need it. Is there anyway to just check the chip? By the way my ECU is giving a 21 which is Ignition signal missing in primary coil. Does that mean its not getting spark to the coil or the coil is not sparking out? Please help!

take your test light(ground it!) and stick it on the boot and see if you have spark. If not then make sure you redid the dash wiring correctly and make sure harness is secure into ecu.
