how hard would it be for......

for an engine swap in a 89-90 instead of the 91-93? whats the differences? just wanted to know because i cant find a 91-93 ... so i either wait, or get an 89 or 90. thanks.

the main thing that you are going to have to deal with is the power steering on the 89-90 is on the passenger side, and on the 91> is on the driver side. The sr20det swap requires the power steering to be on the driver side. Also, if you have a 89-90 you can use the Mass air from this car, if you have the 91> you will have to either get an 89-90 mass air or use the sr20det one.

thanks.. glad somebody replied .. i knew there was something about the ps already, didnt know exactly what, but i knew that.. cant find any 91-93 240's around here.. so i guess i'll wait.

You have to replace the tach too. With either a DOHC or SR one.
