Thumbs down Hard starting when hot

Alright guys, I've been searching the forum like a good boy and found it to be not helping much. here goes
Just as the topic is titled, it is hard to start when my engine is hot. When the engine goes through "heat soak" (when you turn off your car for awhile and your engine just sits there letting all the heat get out) it will not start back up right away (30% chance of making it start). For instance, I go into a casino/arcade (live in Vegas, and I'd like to add that it would probably contribute to my problem seeing it is HOT as hell during the day on top of that my car is black.... ) and come out 30 minutes later its almost impossible to start. Now, I know my clutch switch is fine or at least I THINK it is, I can push start it no problem 100% of the time. My tank is full of gas, my battery is fine. Now, when I try to start it I get a click or sometimes (rarely) I hear nothing. When I try it, I DONT think I have pressure going through my fuel lines, but I could be wrong. Last time I tried it what happened was that I felt a little coming through at fist, and then after that one it wouldnt do it again. Usually do people have heat shields on their starters? I'm thinking mine is just binding up because of the heat, who knows. What do you guys think?

bottom line for those who dont feel like reading

MY CAR WONT START WHEN ITS HOT!

is your starter trying to turn over but it feals like there just is no spark if so that means tat there is nothing wrong with your starter but if when you turn the key and it just clicks then it is your starter. if it is not your starter than try checking your ignition system .

have someone turn on your car and keep the key held in, and you grab a hammer hit the starter a few times and if it starts then you need a starter. or just take a screwdriver and connect the + &- bolts of the starter, should start. keep the key turned in hold it in there and hit that starter, not too hard now..let us know
