i've searched and read on this, and i realize its illegal, but my question is: if i had an SR20 powered 240 in california, but had a license plate from another state, would it matter? i ask this because my parents dont live in california, but i go to college there. i was thinking of buying one over the summer then taking it back to cali...anyone? help a foreign man out. thanks.

 

If i speed in Montana with a PA plate, I'll still get pulled over. It's still illegal... you still have the sr in the car it isn't supposed to be in...
