would a catback exhaust meant for the ka24e fit without modification if i get a sr20det (for a hatch)?

the reason why i ask is cause i saw this auction for a hi flow cat (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CATCO...spagenameZWDVW), and the auction states that its compatible for both the ka24e and the sr20det...meaning the flanges are the same. So i assume that theres a chance that the catback exhaust can be transferred between engines as well.

So does anyone know?

 

It has nothing to do with the engine. If it says it is for an S13, it will fit an S13 regardless of engine.
