motor mount help

alright my car shakes when I'm sitting at idle and I am assuming it's one or more of mymotor mounts. How difficult are they to change on a 90 240? my last car was a 87 corolla and a 88 mr2sc..both of there motor mounts were cake to change. Curious how easy it would be for a 240

well mine was shacking violently the other day. i heard a sound from under the valve cover. comes to find out two of the bolts holding my rocker arm down had vibrated loose. when it's running does it run pretty badly outside of the shacking? like poor throtle response.

runs great when I'm moving...you can only notice the shake when I'm at a stop light or something. I just changed the plugs today...gonna change the wires next....

i don't know what to tell you but i would take the valve cover off just to make sure you don't see anything shiny that would be hitting.

Its probably a combination of running rough and bad motor mounts. The car is 15 years old. i know my tranny mount is bad because when i drive on the freeway the shifter shakes violently with all the bumps.
