take your time and be very patient. oh and word of adive, try to get the tranny and the motor in as one piece it will make things easier, well I know that is true with KAs but I have never really looked at a SR closely.

Thats true to like...any swap, because its always easier to drop it in as one then bolting it up in 2 pieces.

The Motor is in decent shape. The clutch was like brand new.
Trans needs a shifter so im ordering a short throw.

a few hints on the sr swap.

leave the isolaters on the mounts on the block. the cross member is sloted so it will slide in kinda easy.

and yes keep the motor and tranny as one, kinda duck dive it in.

remove the aiv stuff it wont fit, blocks the steering column.

do your heater hoses before the motor goes in. swapem from rhd to lhd.

take invetory of all the parts out of the clip make sure you got everything.
engine harness coilpacks, igniter chip,CAS, and so on.

a sr swap is one of the easiest swaps out. pretty straight forward. like he said just take your time.

get a good look at the clip before you strip it.

make notes if you need to.

dont mix up the 240 bolts with silvia bolts keep everything seperated.

so good luck if you need any advise or help hit me up. pm or something.

good luck!

Ok so far so good , I have An idea of how to start now , Except what is the AIV stuff.
I will start the wring before the motor goes in obviously , Im think start by putting in the S14 Fuse block in the Engine comp and work from there , What do I need to use from the KA harness , and were should i mount the ECU. After wiring i will do hoses/Heater then the motor and trans and hook it all up then the radiator and fans and finally the intercooler , Can anyone recommend a good front mount without going crazy on price.

aiv is all the imissions crap. the down pipe should have something like a pipe bolted into it. pull it plug it and get rid of the junk connected to it.

Well the car already had a huge downpipe on it , I do think That the stuff was taken out before. The motor and trans came out easy. And the pipe had no holes in it.
