NEED HELP with my SR20!!!

aight let me tell u guys the senerio.... i have a 89 240 coupe with a red top sr20det... worked fine for awhile but out of no where im haven idling issues... when i turn the car on it goes to normal (cold) idle witch is bout 1200 rpm then itll kreep up to 1500 then to 1900....the thing is when i drive her a lil and get on it itll idle back to normal..and before this problem the car would drop down to 500 rpm and idle like **** and i found out it was the air flow sensor cuz when i moved it while the car was on it would mess it up and make it run like ****...sooo i cleaned it and snapped it back together and now im haven the idle issue...oviously i planned on goin with a z32 air flow sensor in the future but do u guys think thats the problem??? if it is i would juss replace it with the z32 one...hopfully u guys can hel thankz in advance

Try unplugung the TPS thes sound liek the start to my problems if it cleans up replace it. If it stays the same then its not the TPS and that is one less thing you have to worry about.
