Question Not exactly SR20....but need help!

Okay, i have a 1989 Nissan Sentra coupe, GA16i, 12valve 4cyl. SOHC. I wanted to put a 16 valve head from a GA16DE on my stock motor but it's DOHC. Anyone know if the motor on the 90-91 SE-R is a DOHC? And how many valves?

There is no SE-R in the B12 chassis, the B13 chassis SE-R has a dohc 16 valve 2.0L

wha? just a bit confusing with the chassis codes there...okay, right now i have a SOHC 12 Valve 1.6, anything that gets better (Valve-wise) but is still SOHC 1.6? Basically 16 Valve SOHC 1.6...

Ok, B13 is the 91-94 sentra, ansd the B12 is pre 91, not sure what year it started. I have no clue of the motors in the B12's. You'd be better off putting the SR20DE from the SE-R into the B12, for the money you'd spend on the motor in there now.
