new ka24de swap in 90 no tach
I'm just getting back in to nissan leaving DSM's, I have a good deal of knowaledge about cars in general. Just put a ka24de in the 90 coup i have and its tach wont work im assuming i need a cluster from a 92+ and i have heads up display.

you need dohc tach.. i have a 93 in mine personally and i don't know how the others work
Wiring:
1. Locate the body harness (under dash harness that attached to the ECU) that attached to your old harness. Cut the old connector off ( white plug) (the one that attached to your SOHC harness) and attach your DOHC body harness connector ( brown plug.. you must get from the junkyard from a dohc 240). Just match the colors!
Yellow/Red --Tach
Yellow/Green--Speedometor
Orange--Ignition start
Black---Ground
Blue/Black---Water temp sensor
and or you can do like i have done to another swap...... remove the plug completely and just color match.. you will have to extend the wire a bit however if you do that.... and hopefully you never have to remove the body harness.. if you do.... you will have to cut it in half. sooo thats kinda why its nice to have the connector that can be pulled apart
