hey guys, this is my first post here! anyway, i did a search and couldent really find anything. i am looking at getting a s14 240sx. for a side question, what are the s14s worth? the guy is asking 4900. is that a good deal?

now for the real q, what engines make good swaps for this car? I know some stuff, but does like a sr motor fit easyer than a rb? im going to do this at my schools shop, so ill have all the tools, but how hard is it going to be? also, if i can put eaither motor in, whats better, the rb or sr? or are they similar? how much is this going to cost total?

the last part of my question. where can i find all the motor/trans mounts/ whatever elese i need for the swap? other than mounts, what elese DO i need?

First of all, I know for a fact that you did not search, and if you did, you are blind. There is a TON of information on this site regarding engine swaps. Everything you could ever want. As for the value of the car, it is hard to say how much it is worth without knowing more about it.

If you are going to be doing the swap yourself, make sure you have some friends with you who have experience in this type of project.

Every engine that fits in an s13 will fit in an s14 as well. Just browse the stickied threads and check out the FAQ section for tons of info on this stuff.
