Noobish engine swap question

I've got a '89 240 coupe. Now everywhere i look for SR20's, it says that it fits 90-93 or 91-93. Whats up with that? I have seen plenty of SR20DET swaps on the 89-90 240's. I was just wondering if it is more difficult and if u need to buy more parts when swapping into a 89' compared to swapping into a 91-93 or w/e?

confused

The PS needs a little modding for SOHC's, search around and you will find your answer

OK, found some information on http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/te...via/index.html

They did a swap into a 89' coupe. (just like my car)
Its a good guide but i don't think u could base a whole swap with this infromation. (then again, u could) Still helpful info if anyone wants to check it out
