OBD2 engine in OBD1 car

We have a 96 OBD2 motor in a 95 OBD1 car. Do we have to change the tranny harness in order for the car to start? we have already changed the engine harness to a 95 harness...

I thought the lower harness was the same on both????? I have 2 at the shop, and I never noticed the difference. They both have the crank angle sensor, the only difference I could think of would be the O2 sensor wiring.
