Please HELP Turbo Noise

I have had my SR20 Swap for about a month now and two days after i did it i started to here the really loud high pitch scream when ever i was in boost. Some of my friends told me it was the turbo so just this past weekend i purchased one used from a guy that was upgrading his. The new turbo had Minimum shaft play and spun freely it was pretty much in really good condition. Well i installed it yesturday got the car back on the road and to my suprise the scream was still there.
Today i looked at the turbo and it in good condition as well i even had a few other people looked at it and they told me the same thing.

I still have this Really Loud High Pitch Scream when im in boost. the car boost fine and does not smoke at all its runing stock boost right now.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem with my car?

PLEASE help.

Is that a bad thing or it just going to happen because it is really loud.

whats blown? the turbo? From what i here and understand if it was blown it would would not boost. but i may be wrong. Someone else told me because the motor sounds like it has a miss and its running rich blowing out black smoke that i have a boost leak. Im not sure.

if it is making a high pitch screetching and not a normal boost sound it is blown

Did you use a new gasket from the exhaust manifold to turbo when you dropped the new one in? If not, then check that. My SR used to make a similar noise and it was because that gasket was blown.

it acts as if it has a boost leak. it runs rich and everything. Ive checked all the couplers the intercooler and all the gaskets.

if it had a boost leak it definetly will run like poop

i just replaced the gasket in between the turbo and the turbo manifold and mine still makes that niose. my turbo also boost just fine and very quick. my car pulls very hard, my tubo is definetly not blown.

like Catharsis said, it could be blown...or its just the niose ur turbo makes

But why? He's asking about his turbo not motor. A leak down test does nothing but tell you wether or not compression is leaking, and from where.
