Quick Rad Question
Hello,
I have a quick question for you guys.
On my sr20det in my 92 240sx Coupe with a Blitz LM FMIC
I was thinking of 2 options.
Koyo Rad, I can get one for around 305 US and its still in stock
or
a Silvia rad from a local engline importer with a Perma Cool 14" fan and a Blitz 1.3 Bar rad cap.
Right now i am on a budget, i can upgrade to Koyo later on.
What i am mainly concerned with is will the Silvia rad combo hold up ok to daily BRISK driving in the summer, when it is around 89-90* F at the warmest. I doubt ill be hitting the track alot maybe later on in the summer when i may upgrade to a Koyo Rad
My main concern is if im sitting in traffic when its 90 outside and the AC on and the sun beating down on the car, am i going to overheat with the Silvia/Fan Combo?
Thanks Alot.

You shouldnt overheat with the sivlia rad upgrade. There are people around here in so cal that daily drive their cars with SRs and RBs with no problem and they dont have a koyo. Just the silvia/skyline radiator and a nice electric fan.

ya a agree with hyjnx you dont need the koyo right away, but you need a good fan that perma cool is good but it is not the only one out there. make sure you shop around before you buy. paying more is not always the right chose remeber that, but dont pay for cheaply made products
