hello-
i am gathering information about RHD on a 98 240 with a sr20det from an s13. i have access to a dah and center consil but what else would i need to get or do to make this work.

steering rack - can i flip it or do i need to but a new one
heater box - new or orginal for LHD
dash support bar - find one or LHD one
throttle cable
any thing else that i might need to change or buy for a complete swap.

You need a JDM steering rack.

Okay about the heater box, your feet would be where the box is and is postioned differently than JDM.

Dash support you need RHD. The mounting points are different.

Just take it off of a front clip. Also you interior harness would have to be modified to either shorten or make wires longer.

RHD conversion is not illegal. You will just get hassled more by the cops thats all.

But you may have to check your insurance. They may have you insure it like a kit car.
