i did search for it and went through out all 3 pages for "RB20DET" but i didn't find the answer to my question.

i read that if you use the r32 crossmember to swap the rb20 into the s13 chassis you'll have a problem clearing aftermarket stabilizers/sway bars...is this true?

 

You will clear the sway bar, but it will rub the oil pan a little. Shave a little off(i mean very little)off the sway bar and you should be all set.

 

im lookin at puttin on in my s13 do you have to get anything custom?an does anyone know any websites i can get silva front ends ?

 

For a RB20 you dont need anything custom, unless you want to go with custom mounts...but thats not needed at all. As for S13 conversions, they are all over the place...try mckinneymotorsports.com or jspec.com..hell even ebay might have em

and if anyone would like too can you post some PROS and CONS of the swap in the 89 240?

anything need to be changed in the 89 240 example:how you have to get new power steering lines, etc. for the sr20?
